The spiral cactus, also known as the Cereus forbesii ‘spiralis’, is a rare and distinctive cactus variety. It’s native to Brazil and is known for its intriguing growth pattern. The spiral cactus is a large, hardy, shrub-like cactus with showy large flowers. It has tall, columnar, blue-green, spiral stems that branch out in a candelabra-like arrangement. The stems have a waxy bloom on the surface and reach a height of 2-4 meters (but can grow up to 5 m high or more), and are 10 to 12 cm in diameter.
